The design of puzzle parking system of the parking equipment manufacturers in Qingdao area is mostly from our company President and Chief Engineer Ms. Qu (Tabitha) Yunxia’s hand, because she has served as a product designer in a number of parking equipment manufacturers. With the accumulation of design experience and the summary of user feedback over the years, Ms. Qu has further optimized and improved the original design in the following four aspects, so that our products have better cost performance:
- Bottom floor front and rear beams
The material is H-beam, and the size is optimized from 300mmX150mm to 248mmX124mm. It is found that the bottom beam is easy to be deformed by force analysis and calculation. To prevent deformation, the beams are reinforced with reinforcing plates.
Achievement: Increase car capacity
Its width is increased from 1980mm to 2080mm, which can meet the size requirements of different car models.
Achievement: Easier access for vehicles
- Transversal motor position
The transversal motor is moved from the front end of the equipment to the back end, where is also the electrical wiring.
Achievement: Make the equipment look nice and save wiring time
- Steel wire rope
The wire rope is changed from 10mm diameter to 8.3mm diameter with high strength which is specially made for parking systems, and its tensile strength is above 1960Mpa.
The thinner the wire rope, the smaller the diameter of the roller, the smaller the torque generated, and the corresponding reduction of the system stress. Therefore, 8.3mm wire rope is selected.
