As traffic density increases in Costa Rican cities like San José, parking challenges in narrow streets and small plots are becoming increasingly prominent. Recently, the 90-degree parking tower system developed by the Chinese company Tabitha Parking Ltd. was officially launched in Costa Rica. With its "vertical expansion + lateral quick parking" design, it provides an efficient parking solution for local areas with limited space.

This tower system is based on a vertical, three-dimensional structure: through a multi-level, rising parking layout, it requires only the footprint of approximately three ground-level parking spaces to provide 40-120 intelligent parking spaces, perfectly adapting to the narrow street-front plots and small commercial storefronts common in Costa Rican cities.
The system uses a modular steel structure, resulting in a short installation period. It can be built independently as a small parking tower or embedded in corner spaces of buildings, allowing for rapid deployment without large-scale site modifications.

Its biggest highlight is the 90-degree side parking design, which completely solves the parking operation problem in narrow spaces:
Straight Side Parking: Drivers don't need to reverse; they can directly drive into the entrance platform at a 90-degree angle to the side of the parking space, requiring only half the operating space of a regular parking space;
Intelligent Scheduling: The system automatically transfers vehicles to available levels using a lifting and rotating mechanism, eliminating the need for manual adjustment of the parking space;
Lightning-Fast Retrieval: After initiating a retrieval command, the system can rotate the vehicle to the exit within 120 seconds, allowing drivers to drive out sideways, significantly improving parking efficiency in narrow spaces.

The system has been customized and optimized for local conditions:
Tropical Climate Compatibility: Utilizes a ventilated structure to prevent overheating inside vehicles, with optional rain protection for the rainy season;
Vehicle Compatibility: Each parking space can support a weight of 2.5 tons, covering mainstream family sedans and small SUVs in the region;

The implementation of this 90-degree parking tower system provides a new "small space, large capacity" parking option for narrow streets and small commercial areas in Costa Rica, alleviating local parking pressure and avoiding the costs of large-scale site renovations.
With the promotion of this type of efficient parking solution, the space utilization rate of urban static traffic in Costa Rica will be further improved, bringing a more convenient travel experience to residents.
